You Just Got Your Gun Cerakoted. Now What?

Cerakote is a ceramic-polymer finish that laughs at solvents and holds up to real use — but the first week matters. Give it a full cure: we oven-cure every job, but avoid harsh scrubbing for the first few days.

Clean with standard gun cleaners and a nylon brush; skip the wire wheel. Holster wear on high spots is normal on any finish and shows character — but if you ever get a chip or scratch that bugs you, bring it back. Touch-ups on our own work are cheap, and often free.
